Dr. Sudhir Hansalia, who is originally from India, completed his graduate medical education at B. J. Medical College in Ahmedabad, India. He then completed residency in Internal Medicine at Southern Illinois University in Springfield, Illinois followed by fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Dr. Hansalia is board certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology and Medical Oncology. He worked at Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Zion, Illinois before moving to Florida. He joined Pinellas Hematology Oncology in March 2015.
Dr. Hansalia has expertise in treatment of all solid tumor, hematologic malignancies and benign blood disorders. He advocates clear and honest communication with patient and families and involves them in the care and treatment decisions. He likes to spend time with patients to get to know them on personal level. He strives to provide effective, compassionate and patient centered care.
